Camp Information

2022-2023 Season

Why are camps important?

Picture
Band Camp is a week-long series of rehearsals focused on learning this year's field show. The field show is what we perform at football halftime shows and marching band competitions.

Prior to Band Camp, Training Camp is meant to serve as an opportunity for students to master the basics (physical training, marching, music memorization, etc) in order to progress more effectively the following week.

At the completion of these two weeks, students will learn and memorize 7-8 minutes of music as well as learn their marching positions. We will spend training camp introducing the basics, all of band camp learning the show, then all of the fall practicing to make it perfect - all while having fun in the process!

Students can expect to...

  • Work really hard.
  • Get better at their instrument.
  • Get a serious work out!
  • Be EXHAUSTED at the end of the day, and to feel great about it!
  • Make new friends and have a great time.

...and most importantly...
Be a stronger, smarter, and more responsible person at the end of it all!
